Jamal’s practice focuses on banking, finance and project development transactions. He regularly advises commercial banks, development finance institutions, sponsors, investment funds and corporations on domestic and international transactions in Sub-Saharan Africa.
He has a thorough knowledge of the West African Economic and Monetary Union banking regulation and regularly assists foreign banks operating on a cross border basis. He is also regularly approached to advise investment funds and investors in connection with their corporate and private equity matters, as well as cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions in OHADA member states.
