Asafo & Co. advised Laprophan SA, a leading Moroccan pharmaceuticals group, on its recently announced acquisition of a majority stake in Botanic Pharma, a company specialised in natural food supplements.
The acquisition of Botanic Pharma, subject to regulatory approvals, will allow Laprophan to strengthen its position in the healthcare sector, as well as support its ambition to become a major player in the rapidly expanding food supplements industry worldwide. With the integration of Botanic Pharma, Laprophan will also extend its product portfolio in European and African markets, while broadening its capacity to export innovative, high-quality healthcare products.
