Admaius and Proparco’s joint support, made through the FISEA+ facility, an initiative dedicated to funding the growth of SMEs in Africa, is expected to bring substantial social benefits to Senegal and the broader region. The investment aims to expand the medical school and introduce new training programs, thereby strengthening access to quality education in a region where healthcare professionals are lacking. The initiative is also expected to generate qualified jobs, particularly for women who currently represent the majority of students pursuing careers in the medical sector. Additionally, the initiative will contribute to modernizing infrastructure and fostering more sustainable local healthcare systems in the region.
Earlier this year, Asafo & Co. also advised Admaius on its acquisition of the St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop Medical School.
The Asafo & Co. team advising Admaius was led by partner Patrick Larrivé who was assisted by Martin Van Box Som, Safaa El Khammal and Adji Marieme Dieng.
