Asafo & Co. advised Admaius Capital Partners on the acquisition of St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop Medical School, a leading Senegalese educational institution, with the aim of fostering a new generation of healthcare professionals in West Africa.

Admaius Capital Partners, a private equity fund focused on investing in sectors with high impact in Africa, has announced the acquisition of St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop Medical School, founded in 2003 in Dakar.

Considered one of the leaders in private medical education in Francophone West Africa, the school currently has approximately 2,550 students, 70% of whom come from twenty different countries, with the majority practicing in Senegal and neighboring countries, including Morocco, Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon and Chad.

With this investment, Admaius aims to increase the school’s capacity in terms of medical, dental and pharmacy students, enhance facilities that leverage new technologies, and more generally, add value to the school’s practical training and the African medical profession on the whole.
