Asafo & Co. recently advised Africa CapitalWorks (ACW) and Adiwale Partners (Adiwale), two major private equity funds investing in mid-market companies across sub-Saharan Arica, on their investment in Enko Education, a leading network of private schools in Africa.

The investment, a critical step in ACW’s mission to empower high-impact sectors across the continent, supports Enko Education’s vision of expanding access to world-class education for African students. With a strong focus on providing International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, Enko Education is equipping the next generation of leaders with the skills to thrive in an increasingly globalized economy.

ACW’s investment was complemented by a follow-on investment from Adiwale Fund I, an existing investor in Enko Education, who also played a significant role in the transaction, further demonstrating its commitment to the growth and success of Enko’s mission to transform education across the continent.

This transaction underscores Asafo & Co.’s dedication to facilitating impactful investments that drive innovation and growth across Africa’s key industries. The Asafo & Co. team advising ACW and Adiwale was led by partner Weyinmi Popo and who was assisted by Jamal Fofana (partner) and Patrick Zady (associate).
