The transaction was completed following the acquisition of a stake in Outsourcia’s capital by a fund managed by SPE, and was partially financed through a share exchange, allowing PhoneAct’s founder to become a core shareholder of Outsourcia. In addition to advising on the acquisition, Asafo & Co was also involved in the financing arrangements with Société Générale to finance part of the acquisition.
With the addition of PhoneAct’s 900 employees in Tunis, Outsourcia will diversify its portfolio by adding a strategic nearshore destination in an increasingly competitive and highly consolidated sector.
The Asafo & Co. team in Casablanca advising Outsourcia in the acquisition and financing was led by partner Patrick Larrivé who was assisted by partner Mouna Boubia and associates Christy Komba Malongo and Martin Van Box Som.
