Noro-Lanto Ravisy is a transactional lawyer with over 25 years of experience and a proven track record of negotiating and advising large and complex deals. Over the course of her career, Noro-Lanto has advised major corporations, financial institutions, investments funds and managers on a large number of global transactions, ranging from small to large cap, (buyouts, capital raisings, acquisitions, disposals, mergers, JVs), including in Africa.
In addition to international M&A/private equity, Noro-Lanto also has extensive experience advising managers and family offices in their growth and in buyouts involving private equity funds.
Selected Experience:
- Advising CSquared in its joint venture with the government of Togo to act as the landing party for the Togolese branch of the Equiano submarine fiber optic cable system being built by Google.
- Advising Africinvest FIVE (Financial Inclusion Vehicle) in connection with Series A financing round of French company Bizao SAS, a digital payment service provider operating in Western and Central Africa.
- Advising Aruwa Capital, an early-stage growth equity and gender lens fund investing in Nigeria and Ghana, in its investment in Koolboks, a technology-enabled renewable energy refrigeration company that provides cost-effective cooling services to business owners, in off-grid areas in Nigeria and globally.
- Advising the Canadian engineering group SNC-Lavalin when stepping out of Ambatovy’s share capital of, a giant nickel mine project in Madagascar, by way of transfer to the Japanese conglomerate Sumitomo.
- Advising ClubMed in connection with the development by the company Vacances Cap Skirring (VACAP) of the Saraba holiday village in Senegal, the largest investment in the tourism sector for the West African sub-region.
- Advising the FISEA fund (Proparco) in connection with its entry into the share capital of the Guinean company Chain Hotel Conakry, controlled by the Teyliom group, with a view to developing a benchmark hotel for regional and international business customers.
- Advising the American fund CFIG of Credit Suisse (now Grosvenor Asset Management) on its European co-investments with the KKR funds (in particular in France, Italy, Spain and the UK).
